I decided to start a series of posts on my blog that feature my Disneybounds and reviews on the companies I got some of the pieces I used for the look from. I couldn't decide which character to start with because I have done quite a few and I want to do more. I will take requests for characters if anyone has any they'd like to see. I have a list of characters that I'd like to do as well. I took to Instagram to help me decide my first posts subject and Snow White was the winner. Sally was the opponent in the poll and she didn’t fall far behind so, she will be in the next post.
I have done two different Snow White looks. One was a casual, every day kind of inspired outfit and the other is a representation of her dress. I'm going to start with the casual one and then go into the most recent Snow White look I've done. Unfortunately, when I wore this outfit we weren't near her cottage or the ride. We also never got the chance to meet her so my photos of this outfit are from Haunted Mansion and when I met Goofy. Oh well, it's still a cute outfit and the details are visible, mostly. The ears aren't visible in this photo but they will be featured in a later post. For this outfit I went for a super laid-back and easy inspired outfit. The shirt and shorts are from Forever 21. I'm not that fond of the shirt but I ran out of time to find a blue shirt for this. The shorts, however, are so comfortable and I wore them for my Winnie the Pooh Disneybound as well. The purse is from Danielle Nicole, unfortunately, it broke after only a few months and a few uses. I love the bag but for the amount of money I paid for it, I expected it to last a lot longer than it did. I't’s alright though, I emailed the company about it and I'm hoping they'll be helpful. If not, I'll just try to fix it myself. The last part of the outfit is the shoes, which are Toms. They're super comfortable, especially during the long days of running around Disney.
For the second Snow White look with her more iconic dress I wore my dress from Bunni Designs. (use coupon code BUBBLEGUM10 for a discount) Snow White isn't my favorite princess but, I do love the movie and her look, plus all the cute Snow White items and pins in Disney. She's just such a cute princess and when Bunni Designs offered to send me this dress, I couldn't refuse. It's so cute! Plus, I dyed my hair dark for my sisters wedding and it was perfect timing to receive this dress in the mail. The material is stretchy and really soft. The design of the dress is really adorable and its a shorter version of her fancy dress and very casual. I really want them to come out with a dress that looks like her rags dress. That would be amazing! I got this dress before it was available on the shop and I couldn't wait to wear it and share my thoughts (it is available now). The colors are beautiful, it's true to size, and the cut is really flattering. I paired this dress with a bow from Forever 21 and my poison apple souvenir cup from Disney World. The souvenir cup glows in the dark and is currently holding my collection of dumbo pins, which you can see in the cup if you look closely. I had to rush to do photos which is why the pins are still there. I'd like to do a photoshoot thats Snow White themed one day with one of my friends who does photography. Hopefully, we will be able t find a really pretty field or something to use. If that ever happens, I will definitely share the pictures on here.
